788 SOFTWARE DESIGN TOOL Recommended operational procedure of the 788 design tool
Design the individual screens of your program and save each screen as a number and or letter, e.g. Screen 1a or Screen 2b.
The red rectangles around the outside of the virtual indicator screen represent the buttons on the actual 788 indicator. Pressing one of these "action" buttons on the actual indicator allows you to move through the program. Each of these buttons can be labeled by writing a word next to each one. Pressing this button will then take you to another screen of the program.
With the screens saved and labeled, as mentioned above, the processes of the software can be specified by noting which screen will be accessed when a button on the indicator is pressed. For example, "On screen 1a, pressing the button labeled START will take you to Screen 2b and this screen will be password protected." |

777 SOFTWARE DESIGN TOOL Recommended operational procedure of the 777 design tool
The 777 has a 4-line LCD display which means there is a limitation on the amount of information that can be shown on the screen.
This word document gives example screen designs and an example process description.
The screen captures can either be filled in using text boxes in Microsoft Word or simply printed off and filled in by hand. If more space is required to write the remarks for each key, additional space can be used and referenced back to the appropriate screen number. |
