| With the loss in weight programs of the 7XX series,
the loss of product weight can be measured and controlled. This type
of program can be used for a vast range of applications for example
the food industry or the glass making industry. |

A 788 program designed to monitor the flow rate, total usage and temperature
of a liquid as it flows through a piped system.
The program automatically maintains a set amount of liquid within a container by operating a solenoid valve as set weights are reached. The loss in weight, measured by the indicator, is used to calculate the flow rate in kg/second, kg/minute or kg/hour. The actual temperature of the liquid flowing through the system is displayed on the indicator and the required temperature can be set via the setup menu. There is also a PC link to send the records to either MS Excel or other required database programs. This
system also requires a digital-to-analogue converter card (DAC card).
This card option is not available in SmartWeigh, but the program can
still be run with no PC link simulation or input temperature.
