Standard platform scales are notoriously poor performers when they are mounted on a steep incline. The distribution of forces means that the loadcells will not perform optimally and weighing results will often not repeat or will be regularly inaccurate.

When one of our customers was looking to replace a platform scale that had to be mounted on a relatively steep incline we knew we had to think outside the box. Our trade partner requested we designed and manufacture a custom frame work to allow the platform to sit level. The slope measurements were carefully taken following a consultation site visit and the required frame and stainless steel platform scale manufactured by our expert fabricators to the exact requirements.
