Overclockers UK is a leading retailer and custom builder of high-performance gaming PCs, components and peripherals, supplying both end users and the trade across the UK.
With over 10,000 active SKUs and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements tightening, Overclockers needed a way to capture packaging weights quickly, accurately, and in line with 2025 legislation. Manually logging packaging data was proving unsustainable, with reports required every quarter.
After a series of demos, Overclockers UK partnered with AWM to deploy the Resolution Go, entering a hire/purchase agreement to ensure it was the right fit. The device was chosen for its simplicity and speed; by scanning a barcode and weighing the item on a calibrated scale, the data is logged instantly into AWM’s cloud-based software, complete with full traceability and packaging breakdown.
Using the Resolution Go, Overclockers UK are looking to have mapped packaging data for all SKUs in approximately 4 months. Manually, this process would have taken over a year to complete. Meeting the quarterly reporting requirements under EPR is now achievable, with the added benefit of clear visibility over material types and waste categories.
