The Baykon BX18 is a high-accuracy, DIN rail-mounted process controller designed for precise industrial weighing applications, housed within cabinets to ensure resilience in dusty or challenging environments. As a process controller, the BX18 processes weight data and sends essential control signals to external equipment, automating key weighing workflows. Its compact LED display with a clear 13.5mm readout enables reliable visibility and monitoring, while the IP-rated enclosure allows the unit to operate reliably even in rugged settings. The BX18 offers versatile connectivity options, including RS-232C, RS-485, analog output options, and Modbus RTU Fieldbus, allowing seamless integration with other systems.
Installation and servicing are simplified with multiple calibration options: choose between electronic calibration (eCal), standard calibration, or fieldbus-based calibration. The eCal function, which allows calibration without test weights, and sCal for span-only calibration, make setup and maintenance efficient, especially for large-scale applications like hoppers or tanks where emptying isn’t feasible. Additionally, the BX18 is highly programmable with four digital inputs, six digital outputs, and advanced filtering features, ensuring stable, high-speed readings with up to 1600 samples per second.
